To buy a native blockchain asset or ERC-20 token with fiat on Senpero, choose an offer matching the asset, network, currency and payment method you intend to use.

Follow these steps:

1. Select an offer. Review the seller, exchange rate, available amount, order limits, payment method and trade terms.
2. Verify the asset and network. For an ERC-20 token, confirm that the token contract and network match what you expect. Assets with the same symbol may exist on multiple networks.
3. Enter the purchase amount. Check the amount of fiat you must pay and the cryptocurrency you are expected to receive.
4. Open the trade order. Follow the order status and wait for confirmation that the cryptocurrency has been funded into escrow.
5. Send the fiat payment. Use the payment details and method specified in the order. Send the exact amount from an account you are authorized to use.
6. Mark the payment as sent. Do this only after the transfer has actually been submitted.
7. Receive the cryptocurrency. After the seller verifies the payment, the asset is released from escrow to your wallet.

For a native asset, the seller funds escrow through a direct blockchain transaction. For an ERC-20 token, the seller may first need to approve the escrow contract and then complete a separate transaction that transfers the tokens into escrow. The approval alone does not fund the trade.
