To sell a native blockchain asset or ERC-20 token for fiat on Senpero, select a compatible buy offer and deposit the cryptocurrency into escrow before the buyer sends payment.

Follow these steps:

1. Choose a buy offer. Check the buyer, asset, network, fiat currency, payment method, exchange rate, limits and trade terms.
2. Enter the amount. Confirm how much cryptocurrency you will sell and how much fiat you should receive.
3. Provide valid payment details. Use an account that you control and that supports the payment method specified in the offer.
4. Open the trade order. Review the final transaction details before signing any blockchain request.
5. Fund the escrow. Deposit the exact cryptocurrency amount required by the order.
6. Wait for the buyer’s payment. Keep communication inside the trade and monitor the receiving account directly.
7. Verify the funds. Confirm the correct amount and sender information in your bank, wallet or payment-service account.
8. Release the cryptocurrency. Release from escrow only after confirming that the payment was actually received.

Funding differs by asset type:

• Native asset: Deposit the asset directly into escrow. Keep enough of the same native asset available to pay the network fee.
• ERC-20 token: You may need to approve the escrow contract first and then submit a separate deposit transaction. Approval only grants an allowance, it does not transfer the tokens. You also need the network’s native asset to pay gas.

Never release cryptocurrency based only on a screenshot, email, notification or the buyer marking the order as paid.
