FAQ Answer
Disputes, Scams, and Safety
What evidence should I provide for a P2P trade dispute?
Provide evidence that clearly connects the payment or blockchain transaction to the disputed order, including amounts, dates, references and relevant trade-chat messages.
Answer
Evidence for a P2P trade dispute should clearly show what happened and connect the payment or cryptocurrency transfer to the correct order. Submit complete, readable records rather than cropped images that remove important context.
Useful evidence may include:
- The Senpero order or trade identifier
- A payment receipt showing the amount, currency, date and transaction reference
- The sender and recipient names or account details
- The payment status, such as completed, pending, rejected or reversed
- Relevant messages from the Senpero trade chat
- Screenshots or account records showing whether the payment was received
- The blockchain network and transaction hash for an on-chain transfer
- A short chronological explanation of the events
Buyers should provide proof that the agreed payment was sent to the correct recipient. Sellers disputing receipt should provide available account records showing the relevant period and explain any mismatch in the amount, sender or reference.
Do not edit evidence or submit misleading screenshots. You may redact unrelated balances, transactions and sensitive account numbers, but keep the details necessary to connect the evidence to the trade.
Submit documents only through Senpero’s official dispute or support process. Never share passwords, authentication codes, private keys or wallet recovery phrases.
Clear evidence does not guarantee a particular decision, but it allows the trade records, payment information and escrow status to be assessed more accurately.
