FAQ Answer
Payments and Fiat Transfers
How do I provide payment proof for a P2P trade?
Provide payment proof through the active order using an authentic bank or payment-service record. It should identify the transfer clearly without exposing unrelated financial information or account credentials.
Answer
Payment proof should come from the bank, digital wallet or payment service used for the transfer. Submit it through the active trade or dispute process so the evidence remains connected to the correct order.
Useful payment proof should show:
- The transferred amount and currency.
- The payment date and time.
- The transaction or reference number.
- The sender’s name or identifiable account details.
- The recipient’s name or identifiable account details.
- The payment status, such as completed, pending or rejected.
- Any order reference required by the payment instructions.
A transaction-details screenshot, downloadable receipt or account statement can be useful if it clearly shows the relevant transfer. If the payment was divided into multiple transactions, provide evidence for each one.
Protect information that is not required to verify the trade. Never share:
- Online banking passwords or login details.
- One-time authentication codes.
- Full payment-card numbers or security codes.
- Wallet seed phrases or private keys.
- Unrelated transactions or complete account balances.
Do not alter the payment amount, name, date, reference or status in an image. If you redact unrelated sensitive information, keep the original record available in case additional verification is needed.
Payment proof does not confirm that the seller received the money. It shows that a transfer was initiated or processed according to the displayed status. The seller must still verify the funds directly in the receiving account before releasing cryptocurrency.
Keep payment evidence and communication inside Senpero. Avoid sending sensitive records through external messaging apps or public support channels.
