Blocking is a personal safety control. It is separate from a moderation strike or a report and takes effect immediately for both accounts.
Block a user
- 1Open the user or chat menu
Use the block action on the vendor profile, offer page, trade page or chat header.
- 2Confirm the block
The confirmation explains the effect before anything changes.
- 3Both sides update immediately
The block is mutual for visibility and interaction. The other side cannot send messages or start new trades with you.
What blocking changes
- Offers and vendor search results are hidden between the two accounts.
- New trade requests and new trades between the two accounts are blocked.
- Chat messages are blocked in both directions.
- Existing trade history remains visible to both parties.
- Trade actions outside chat remain available so existing escrow can still be completed or disputed.
- Support and dispute tools remain available.
Unblock a user
Open your account blocked-users list or the same user menu and select unblock. Visibility and messaging return immediately unless the other account still has its own block in place.
Reporting and blocking together
Blocking stops interaction; reporting asks moderators to review behaviour. You can report first and then block, or block first and report later. A report does not automatically block the account.
